목과 어깨 사이에 네 개의 고리형 손잡이가 부착되어 있는 정요 병입니다.
꽃잎 모양으로 벌어진 구연부 아래 긴 목의 상단에는 원반 형태로 돌출된 장식이 있습니다. 부푼 어깨에는 동서남북 방향으로 네 개의 꽃무늬가 첩화(貼花)되어 있으며, 복부에는 커다란 모란꽃이 밧줄에 매달린 형태의 문양이 부착되어 있습니다.
이 밧줄 문양은 여러 가닥을 꼬아 만든 밧줄의 질긴 특성을 표현한 것으로, 바다에서 인간의 활동을 돕는 중요한 도구였습니다. 이러한 장식은 고대 사람들이 조선(造船)과 항해 기술을 중시했음을 반영하는 예술적 표현으로 볼 수 있습니다.
완만하게 내려가는 복부는 굽에서 살짝 벌어지며 안정감을 주는 형태를 띠고 있습니다. 전반적으로 장유(酱釉)가 시유(施釉)되어 있으며, 장유는 감색(柿色)과 유사하여 시유(柿釉)라고도 불립니다. 이와 같은 색감은 유약에 포함된 산화철 성분에 의해 나타나며, 정요에서 백자, 흑유와 함께 널리 사용된 유약색 중 하나입니다.
굽 바닥에는 북송 시대 황실과 관련된 도자기에 새겨지는 ‘官(관)’ 관지가 있습니다.
瓶身在肩颈处附有四个环形耳。
花口，颈上部有轮状出沿。肩部四周分别在东、南、西、北四个方向贴四朵花纹，腹部则装饰一朵硕大的牡丹花，并悬挂在绳索上。
绳索纹样表现出多股缠绕而成下的结实坚韧的特性，也是在海洋中人类重要的助力工具。此装饰手法反映古人对造船与航海技术的重视，也是一种艺术表达方式。
瓶腹部线条柔和下垂，至圈足处微微外撇，稳重端庄。通体施酱釉，因其色泽类似柿色，又称“柿釉”。该色彩来源于釉料中的氧化铁成分，是定窑中与白釉、黑釉并列的重要釉色之一。
瓶底足署“官”字款，可知为北宋时期与皇室相关的瓷器。
This is a Ding ware vase featuring four loop-shaped handles attached between the neck and shoulders.
Beneath the petal-shaped flared rim, the upper part of the long neck is adorned with a protruding disc-like decoration. The rounded shoulders bear four appliquéd floral motifs arranged in the cardinal directions (east, west, south, and north). The body is further embellished with a large peony flower suspended by a rope-like pattern.
This rope motif is designed to capture the durable, twisted strands characteristic of real ropes, an essential tool aiding human activities at sea. Such decorative elements reflect the significance of shipbuilding and navigation in ancient times, serving as an artistic expression of their maritime importance.
The gently sloping body extends slightly outward at the foot, creating a stable and well-balanced form. The entire piece is covered in a jiangyou (酱釉, brown glaze), a glaze color resembling persimmon, which is why it is also known as shiyou (柿釉, persimmon glaze). This distinctive hue is produced by the iron oxide content in the glaze. Alongside white porcelain and black glaze, this brown glaze was one of the widely used glaze types in Ding ware.
On the base of the foot, the character "Guan (官)", a mark associated with Northern Song imperial ceramics, is inscribed.
