북송 시대 균요(鈞窯)에서 제작된 자색 투각 필통입니다. 주로 붓을 보관하는 용도로 사용되었으며, 당시 황실의 문방 생활 및 송대 도자 제작 기술을 보여주는 유물입니다.
육각 기둥 형태에 여섯 개의 발이 부착되어 있습니다. 몸체 각 면에는 타원형 창을 내고 그 내부를 격자무늬로 투각하였습니다. 흙을 덧대거나 도톰하게 형태를 잡는 퇴화(堆花) 기법을 활용하여 입체감을 더하였습니다. 동체의 상·하단에는 돌출된 현문(弦紋)을 둘렀습니다.
전면에는 장밋빛과 유백색 등이 오묘하게 어우러진 색조가 나타나며, 이를 매괴자유(玫瑰紫釉)라 합니다. 이는 시유된 유약 속 철과 구리가 고온 소성 과정에서 요변(窯變) 현상을 일으켜 발현된 것으로 균요 도자의 특징 중 하나입니다.
균요는 북송 5대 명요(여요, 관요, 가요, 균요, 정요) 중 한 곳으로 북송 말기 황실 전용 도자기를 제작하던 관용(官用) 가마입니다. 엄격한 선별을 거쳐 궁중에 납품하던 가마의 특성과 공정 난이도가 높은 투각 기법이 적용된 점을 고려할 때, 황실용 유물로 추정됩니다.
笔筒紫色镂空，于钧窑烧造。主要用于存放毛笔，体现了当时皇室与文人阶层的文房生活，以及宋代陶瓷的制作技术。
器物呈六方形，下承六足。器身各面开有椭圆形窗孔，内部镂空格状纹样。采用堆花技法，使造型更加立体。器身上下端饰有凸起的弦纹。
器表呈现玫瑰色与乳白色交融的色调，称为玫瑰紫釉。此为施釉后，釉中铁与铜在高温烧成过程中产生窑变现象所形成，是钧窑瓷器的重要特征之一。
钧窑为宋代五大名窑（汝窑、官窑、哥窑、钧窑、定窑）之一，北宋末期专为皇室烧造瓷器，是官用窑。结合其严格的遴选制度以及工艺复杂的镂空技法，推测此器应为宫廷用器。
This is a purple openwork brush holder produced at the Jun kiln during the Northern Song Dynasty. Primarily used for storing brushes, it is an artifact that illustrates the imperial stationery lifestyle and ceramic production techniques of the Song Dynasty.
The item is shaped as a hexagonal pillar supported by six feet. Each side of the body features an oval window with the interior decorated in lattice openwork. Appliqué (toehwa) techniques were utilized to add a three-dimensional effect by layering or thick-shaping the clay. Protruding raised bands (hyeonmun) encircle the upper and lower sections of the body.
The surface displays a subtle blend of rose and opalescent white tones, known as Maegoejayu (rose purple glaze). This coloration resulted from kiln transmutation (yobyeon) during the high-temperature firing process, which is a hallmark characteristic of Jun ware caused by the reaction of iron and copper within the glaze.
The Jun kiln is one of the five famous kilns of the Northern Song Dynasty (Ru, Guan, Ge, Jun, and Ding) and served as an official kiln producing ceramics exclusively for the court during the late Northern Song. Given the kiln's practice of supplying the palace after a strict selection process and the application of high-difficulty openwork techniques, this piece is presumed to be an imperial artifact.
